IRS 2025: The Tax Deductions Page Is Now Online - Check It Before It's Too Late

If you haven't done so yet, now is the right time. The tax deductions page for 2025 became available on March 15 - as it does almost every year - and this is where you'll finally find all the data that will automatically appear on your IRS return.
Health, education, rent, bank interest, life insurance: everything that entities reported to the Tax Authority (AT) with your NIF - and those of the remaining members of your household - is gathered on this page. These are the values that really count.
Why Is It So Important to Check This Page?
Over previous months, many invoices that didn't appear on e-Fatura were "on hold". It's precisely on this March page that they appear - from Health Centre expenses and private consultations, to tuition fees, school fees, textbooks and rent.
If what you find here is correct, you can rest easy and wait for the IRS filing period to begin.
If an important expense is missing or the values are wrong, you'll need to reject the Automatic IRS and manually fill in Model 3. Otherwise, you risk receiving less refund than you deserve - or paying more than you should. In some cases, the difference can be hundreds or even thousands of euros.
How to Access Tax Deductions - Step by Step
Option 1 - Via e-Fatura: Access e-Fatura and, at the top of the page where the year appears, use the arrow to go back and select the year 2025.
Option 2 - Via Finance Portal (already available):
- Access the Finance Portal
- In the search bar, type "Deductions"
- In the results, select "Tax deductions"
- Enter the NIF and password for each household member
- Click "Details" to see all values broken down by category
What You Should Check
- Health - consultations, co-payments, medication, treatments (public and private)
- Education - tuition, fees, school meals, textbooks
- Housing - rent, bank interest (for contracts up to 2011)
- Life insurance - if applicable
- Care homes - expenses with elderly care homes or dependents
Confirm the data for each household member separately, using their respective NIF and password.
