Attention: The Deadline to Dispute Your IRS Expenses Ends This Tuesday

If you haven't checked your expenses on the Tax Authority portal yet, there's one date you cannot ignore: March 31. This is the deadline for taxpayers to dispute the value of expenses considered by the tax authority for calculating IRS deductions - namely general family expenses and VAT deductions for invoice requirements.
What can you check and dispute until Tuesday?
On the Tax Authority portal, in your personal IRS area, you can consult all expenses the Tax Authority (AT) will consider in calculating your tax. Expenses are organised by category and by invoice-issuing entity, allowing you to confirm everything is correct.
However, the possibility of dispute until March 31 covers only two types of expenses:
What about other expenses?
For health, education, property charges, nursing homes, and Social Security contributions for domestic workers, corrections can be made directly in the IRS return through Annex H, during the filing period - between April 1 and June 30.
Don't forget IRS consignment
March 31 is also the deadline to indicate the entity to which you wish to consign part of your IRS (and, optionally, VAT). You can do this on the Tax Authority website, choosing from fire brigade associations, social solidarity institutions, sports and cultural associations, among many others. If you don't do it now, you can still do it when filing your return.
